Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Hamed Coupons ("we", "us") collects when you visit the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We designed our data practices around one principle: collect the minimum needed to run a useful coupon site, and nothing more. By using the site you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

When you click a coupon or a store link, we record an anonymous click event containing:

• A hashed version of your IP address. The raw IP is never stored — it is passed through a one-way cryptographic hash with a secret salt, so it cannot be reversed to identify you or your device.
• The page you clicked from (referrer) and your browser's user-agent string (browser type and operating system).
• The coupon you clicked and the date and time of the click.

2. Data we do NOT collect

• No names, email addresses or phone numbers — we have no registration and no newsletters requiring sign-up.
• No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies from us. We do not run third-party ad networks on the site.
• No raw IP addresses, no precise location, no device fingerprints, no browsing profiles.
• No payment information — purchases happen entirely on the stores' own websites.

3. Why we collect this data

• To show honest popularity signals (e.g. 'X uses today') and improve which coupons we feature.
• To detect and block abuse of our click-tracking system.
• To reconcile clicks with affiliate networks, so stores pay the correct commission and codes stay funded for testing.

4. Cookies

We set only the minimal technical cookies required for the site to function and for securing the admin area (which is not accessible to the public). When you click through to a store, that store or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to attribute your purchase — those cookies are governed by the store's own privacy policy, not ours.

5. Third-party services

The site is hosted on Vercel and its database runs on Supabase; both process technical data (such as server logs) on our behalf to deliver the site. When you click an affiliate link, the destination store and its network receive standard technical information (including your IP address as seen by them) under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any store before purchasing.

6. Data retention

Anonymous click events are kept for a maximum of 12 months, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted by a scheduled job. Because we store no personal identifiers, there is generally nothing to delete upon request — but see section 8 anyway.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Our database is protected by row-level security, administrative access is limited to authorized editors with strong authentication, and sensitive keys are never exposed to the browser.

8. Your rights

Depending on your country (including under Egyptian, Saudi and UAE data-protection laws and the GDPR if applicable), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we intentionally store no identifiable personal data, most requests will simply confirm that we hold nothing about you. To exercise any right, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for a reasonable period.
